labstaff
How much (roughly) do you increase a kennelled dogs food in the winter to help with the cold. I've been adding about an extra third for my labs and condition seems to be maintained. Does anyone change the type of food fed in winter? I feed more in the winter as they are working harder - shooting, beating, picking up - not just because it is cold. Sounds as if you have the balance right if they are keeping condition. We don't feed anything different at all during the winter, seem feed, just larger amounts. Mike
