Hi guys,

My SGC is expiring in next 10 weeks so D&C sent me a gentle reminder to renew. My FAC is only 2 years old, so i thouhgt i would go for Coterminous this time around. Ive filled in all the forms but do i read it correctly when it asks for the landowner to give signed permission again ? Even though it was doen 2 years ago and a land inspection carried out ? Also, do i need 2 lots of 2 referees again ?

Many thanks

There is no requirement for the landowner to sign anything anywhere on the forms. Just put the land down as before. You would need 2 referees.

I was going to say you are mad throwing away 3 years left on your FAC, but thinking about it in 3 years time I bet it costs a lot more money, so you may be wise.

Yes you should have it signed and return it with your application.

D&C, as part of their application process, send you their own form to be signed by the landowner. You will see from the guidance notes they will have sent you with the application pack where they ask you to complete this form.

Although there is no legal requirement to do so you will find that it speeds up the process and makes for a smoother application.
