my dad is looking to take our new lee enfield out on short siberia today and we are looking to buy dome surplus south african ammo at the NSC office for the ranges. i know it shouldnt be dangerous otherwise they wouldnt sell it. it is obviously full metal jacket as it is military ammo. i was wandering if ant of you have used these or know anything about them. they look a good deal at £21 for 11 cartridges.

any help is welcomed.

cheers

Go once a month and shoot 100 or 200 yards at Bisley. A mate buys his .308 there and has never had a problem with it. it is less accurate than other rounds you can get, but for a bit of fun target shooting it is fine. Happy shooting.
