Wacking Foxs......

These are from last night, biggest dog fox I have shot! I went back lunch time as I forgot the camera. The first one was out at 110 yds and I was shooting off my bonnet with Olly on the other side with the lamp and amber filter, however the fox was looking at him and was sitting right on the edge of cover the same colour as it.

Good job the wind was with us, as the exchange of words was escalating with phrases like “well I can ####ing see it”

A well timed squeak caused him to turn for a second and wack….

The second fox was taken by Olly off the sticks, the wind was not so kind but the trusty smell from a chicken farm makes such a difference.

Red filter this time as I have been on this field a few times, I called it around 150 yds, only to find it about 70 yds from us.

As I flicked the lamp on him, he shot off to out around a 100 and was slinking off, so whispered to Olly get ready and he replied I am shaking. So I replied sharply just wack it….. I called the fox and then wizzzzz, then wack from the .243 and a, ye ha from Olly!
