chilly
Thanks OD, what recommendations would you make for shooting them?
oscarsdad
I shoot on a couple of golf courses with sub 12ftlbs PCP or springer. go early in the morning or late evening / night with the lamp. I prefer evenings into last light as I can then stalk them without the lamp and there are not too many pesky golfers around!

bothbarrels
Is it worth contacting golf courses for permission to shoot?? are they generally interested and is it worth it when you can only really go out with a lamp? just wondering as i have 2 or 3 close to me and was thinking of giving them a shout Def worth calling in! nothing ventured and all that. lamping is prob the best bet,as no one will/should be around after dark, once you get permission you can ask if the land has been passed for FAC, (if you have one,)or maybe As said before Air rifle?, You could also offer ferreting to another PW member, and maybe get some shooting in return (if you don't have ferrets your self?.) leave a contact card or information at the very least, you never know, if they are already sorted, they may get let down, and give you a shout. Good luck buddy. BB.
