PotHunter96
the other day had about 50 pinkfoots come over the house about 200 yards up at about 2 in the afternoon and i was wondering were would they be moving they came back again in the middle off the night as we heard them calling or they could have been a different lot as we only heard them. are they migrating early or were they disturbed off feeding grounds somewhere else could have been more than 50 not sure
sako751sg
Not unusual to see them moving at anytime up here with the amount of shooting they are getting, and also coming up to the big moon they will be fighting at night too. They also usually move south away from here when the weather hardens buts its been ok this year

shakin stevens
I think you will find they are moving from Norfolk and the wash back up onto the north west coast. The main Skiens do move with the moon sometimes early in the morning, they pass my place near Worksop around mid morning and in the afternoon. I love to watch them when they move like this, the phone always rings with a fowling friend saying have you seen the geese today!!!
