chrisjpainter
Just looking into renewal of the old insurance and trying to save a bit of money! Is anyone insured with BASA and if so are they any good compared to NGO or BASC? Been looking at other forums and there seem to be a lot of bad reports of BASA, but they all seem to be over a year ago, so wondered if anything had changed! any help? chris
Gnome of the Woods
Rubbish! Its a scheme run by the publishers, rubbish cover, rubbish communications ect ect. It is purely an insurance scheme, no back up like BASC or CA et al! But you pay your money you take your choice.

Mungler
My usual answer - if you just want insurance cover you can get it anywhere for pennies - try Clayman off here for details of his CCC insurance. If you want to support shooting and get all the extra bits (advice line, nice magazine, running deer days, access to training and DSC schemes etc) then join BASC. Oh yes, those SACS lot wear skirts, so just don't go there
fireshot
BASC all the way, used BASA once they were a bunch of cowboys ,never replying just take your money thankfully had to use them for a claim.

jmoz82
Basc or countryside alliance is the way to go !!!!
PWD
BASC for me....its more than just insurance. I look at it if too many people start to fund all these minority organisations...in a way we have divided and conquered ourselves..the bigger ones like BASC can only do what they do whilst funds are coming in...if its spread over 100 different cowboy outfits then its to diluted to be effective
