Salopian
Any reloaders out there? I would appreciate your input on how to identify primers. I have been given a whole load of bits and bobs by a friend who has retired. They include primers of different appearance.Anyone know how to identify different types? rarms
Personally I would chuck them unless they are in sealed boxes.
Graham M
They could be anything as it isn't all that easy to tell one from another. Primers only cost @£1.80 per 100 so it just isn't worth the bother. Chuck 'em in a tin and cover them with WD40, leave them for a week or so and then throw them in the bin. G.M. mry716
And then choose the appropriate one for the powder used http://www.shortmags.org/shortmags/downloa...fle-primers.htm
Salopian
I would think it would be highly illegal to ' chuck them' or discard them in the rubbish or skip as they are classed as explosives. We recently had the local tip closed for a day because 2 shells were seen by an attendant. The bomb disposal guys from Hereford attended and declared the fired /used shells safe. Thanks for your advice.
