ShooterTom
My friend (who has a SGC) has asked if he could borrow my shotgun for a day. I would happily lend it to him. However is this legal to do so? The next problem is that (if I can lend it to him) I will not be there to give it to him on the day, so can he know where my keys are kept and let himself in and get it himself? Cheers Tom
humperdingle
He can borrow it for up to 72 hours without informing firearms licensing. Unless you've specified that you're sharing a cabinet with another cert holder, he wouldn't be able to have access to your cabinet, though. (As far as i'm aware)

As long as he locks it away in his cabinet when he is not using it and he is 100% trustworthy.

Kes
I would just give him a note to the effect that its on loan, in case he's stopped and its not on his cert (obviously). Cheers
