Curly87
Just found out a friend of mine has got a divers bottle that i can have meaning my budget can be a little more on a air rifle Can any one recomend a rifle which has a thumbhole stock and not a single shot?? around the £450 mark. I really like the look of some of the Falcon rifles but think they might be out of my price range abit any help would be grand,

A lot of rifles come with the thumbhole option so there is still a theoretically wide range to choose from.
Curly87
it would be nice to have a thumbhole stock, just really like the look and feel of them but i supose it isnt vital, now just seen the Brocock Enigma aswel which looks good! really have no idea anymore on what to get, need to go to the gun shop i think to have a real look at some of them and also see what thumbhole stocks they have

Theskyfox
Just a tip...if you go for a Brocock Enigma get it in the wooden Deluxe version...its a much nicer stock. I use one and its a pleasure to use :-) -Andrew Oh P.S...Bipolar, your Avatar gives me the creeps! lol!

Curly87
im not to keen on the wooden version of the Brocock Enigma, i think the gun looks really moden and therefore i think it looks better with the plastic stock, just what i think. So if i find the stock feels crudy then i will probs look into a different rifle, the weirauch hw100 looks a really nice rifle, and loving the thumbhole stock on it

The build quality is second to none ifits a hunting rifle your after and will be stalking then i would look at something lighter Slipster

Davrian
I was in Avalon guns (Street Somerset) Thursday trying multi shot pcp's for size one of them was the Falcon with skeletal thumbhole stock, the guy behind the counter said all the Falcons they sell come back for one reason or another! The AA S410 actualy felt better to hold with the beech stock and I thought the beech looked and felt better than the walnut! great weight distribution as well, Rapid 7 and Super 10 feel too front heavy for me! HW100 has no where nice to put your trigger hands thumb! odd 90 degree edge where the thumb falls! (do Germans not have thumbs on their trigger hand?) You should shoulder the rifle before you buy and not buy just on looks! I'm really warming towards the S410 which is available in thumbhole. Hope Mendip Shooting Ground have one in second hand, they have an indoor range so I could try one out
