  1. I've left the rifle in the hands of www.westburyfieldsports.co.uk today I can collect it from them if I sell it privately or you can view and buy from them during their open hours (Gives people an excuse to visit a nice little gun shop) Wow I finally worked out to upload images! SOLD Via www.westburyfieldsports.co.uk
  2. Bath Dive Centre 1 Cork Place Upper Bristol Road Bath Not far from Bristol depending on where abouts in Bristol I suppose.
  3. As it says on the tin Air Arms S410 TDR .22 (pre tamper proof) in original carry case with fill adaptor and Tasco 3-9 x56 illuminated scope on two piece mounts £400. Also I have a steel cylinder out of test now but still has charge and see no reason why it wouldn't pass again looking for a fair price? Face to face on both please, I'm based in Somerset near Wilts border willing to travel maybe meet you part way? I can email pics, rifle is in very good original (standard / legal) condition. SOLD Via www.westburyfieldsports.co.uk

    40 ft

I've been pondering this, not long enough yet so can you tell me what effect I could expect from lower or higher mounts?
  6. Well I bought it! Too blingy for me too! stunning to first look at but the looks only any good for HFT and not much else, but I felt it was worth it at that price as its a good project for me. I intend covering it somehow so I've been looking at camo tape and neoprean slips, I remember seeing somewhere that guns can be dipped / printed in a real tree effect anyone know how or where? Any suggestions and help regarding covering it would be great? Also I want to make a laminated HFT style grip for it? I've had a bog standard Stealth in .177 from new for several years now and I'd never sell it! It's been very accurate and consistant both my Stealth and this Storm are the later Walther barreled versions
  7. Not been back on the forum for ages or used this rifle so I really ought to sell it! I'm in Somerset and really want to sell the rifle face to face so please no more questions about postage. I'm looking for £350 for the rifle kit or I have scopes you can choose from and a cylinder so £400 for rifle kit, cylinder and scope. I shouldn't take PX as I'm not using any of my rifles but I could be tempted by a .22 Stealth or AA S310/S410 classic.
  8. After wanting one of these for so long its now sat gathering dust as I just dont have the time at the moment! I should sell for cash only but could be tempted by part ex for a S410 or S310 classic in .22 Which will I'm sure then sit and gather dust.... The rifle as stated is an S410 TDR so 10 shot 'Take Down Rifle' (dismantles and fits in to a laptop style case) included is all the toys really, Rifle in good legal condition, Air Arms silencer, Quick fill adaptor, Scope (if needed but not decided which 1 yet!) 10 shot mag, Air Arms Laptop/Rucksack case, can negotiate a 12l 300bar cylinder? 350.00 face to face. Sorry was tierd when posting, hadn't thought about it too much. No not £10 or £15,000!! but £350 for the basic kit? or as I said poss PX? must be .22 and full length barrel as I already have a .177 TDR / carbine.
  9. Tried S16 before buying a Stealth 2000 in .177! the S16 was .22 and I found it quite accurate apart from when you don't pull the bolt back far enough so it wont fire then in pulling the bolt back a second time you load a second pellet! very anoying but easily done as bolt rquires too much effort. I shoot targest out to 75yrds and drop bunnies at 50yrds. I now have an S410 TDR .22 as well which I'll be selling soon as the Stealth is more accurate, I'd say the S410 TDR is better than the S16 but not just because I'm selling one!
  10. As listed 'Faber 15L 232bar cylinder only for sale, no test but in good condition' listing on here before doing the feeBay thing. A clamp style valve with some charge left, yellow in colour with handle, black rubber boot and blue protective mesh. PM me with best offers, cash and face to face only but willing to travel to meet part way or even deliver if necessary? (20ish mile radius of Frome Somerset) Also will start listing some used scopes I have if anyone’s interested? None of them come with mounts......
  11. The one I saw was a multi shot, little point going to all that trouble for a single shot I suppose! So nobody here has one then? Anyone know of a company that does the conversions?
  12. I saw one (and only one) in a shop on the isle of white about 5 years ago, it was a multi shot pcp but thats all I can remember about it. I did toy with the idea of doing my own conversion for a while but didn't come up with a doner...... Would love to see some if anyone here has one?
  13. I have an 'Improved model D' (like an early airsporter) over 100 years old and still great! (I didn't buy it new! lol) Reading this makes me want to expand my collection of springers further! I'd like one of each model in each cal, don't know why surely I can only shoot one at a time? My Dad still has a MK1 Airsporter .22 and Cadet .177 which one day will join my collection these are the two rifles I learnt with
  14. The only way to sort this is properly I'm afraid! Find the right size mounts, shimming wont make up for being 4mm out also you'd risk distorting your scope. You could zero in as it is but you'd be adding yet another dimension when you already have windage and elevation to consider! Also as its a springer you may find the mounts move as their not seated correctly? Second hand mounts turn up, you could always sell the ones you have so need not cost too much, or you could just keep these mounts as spares, you never know which rifle you may have next?
  15. I'll second that, not just out to bleed you dry like another nearby shop I could mention.......
  16. It'll only costs more at a later date when you retro fit your 10 shot mag! start with the 410 if you can. So where's the cheapest place to buy spare mags? I only have one with my S410TDR.......
  17. I got it from Midland Diving in the end as I found out that's where my local gun shop get them anyway! New problem! the gauge on my bottle went up to 100bar and the gauge on the S410 read 200bar! I stopped there, which gauge do I believe?.....
  18. I didn't get on with the superten I found it front heavy, I still managed to put pellets through the same hole with it though! There is an S410 just appeared in Buy Sell Swap...... Try before you buy though.
  19. Another quick question.... I need to order the flexi hose to go from my gauge on top my cylinder to my quick fill adaptor, I've neen around all the local hydralic and phnuematic companies localy and none of them stock anything as small as 1/8BSP (S410 quick fill) Blackpool air might be able to coble something together looking at there site, Who else is good and got every fitting you'll ever need?
  20. Just for the record I work for a cycle shop that also does mail order and web orders. It is against the law to take payment in full for goods you don't have in stock! The way we operate is to inform the customer of our stock and either take full payment once its in or take a deposit against an order, Retailers should know this!

    Scope Problems

I bought a cheap Tasco 3-9 x50 and it was bad at anything below 100yrds! but then I found the objective lens was adjustable, basically the front collar that looks like a short shade is a lock ring so I can wind that all the way off and then the ring holding the lens screws back in. Now its good down to about 10yrds at 3x, and 25yrds onwards I tend to use 6x above 6x the image goes a bit fuzzy again! cheap optics I'm afraid but you can probably make it useable if you can adjust it? Tasco's instructions made no mention of this by the way!....... Apparently the correct way to set the scope up is to make the adjustments at the eye piece so the cross hair is crystal clear, this is done by holding the scope up to the light and turning the eye piece in or out. Then adjust the objective lens to get the image clear between the ranges you're most likely to use the scope?? (I'm waiting to be corrected on this.... )

    Wanted

There was a couple on guntrader.co.uk over the last couple of weeks.
  23. Well it seems to be sorted, the spring fitted was a larger diameter and longer than what I was told was the original, the 'original' spring seats on the top hat and hammer correctly so I beleive its right the larger spring wasn't seating very well and there was a packer behind the hammer, it all looked bodged the spring must have tipped under compression. It was probably done to inrease power and nothing to do with accuracy, I want my guns legal as one of my permisions is a mile down line from where some bratts were shooting at a train 6 months ago. All I need now is to chrono it and see what I'm getting.... Nice gun to work with though
