Zeiss sunshade

Hi can anybody tell me where to get a sunshade for my 8x56 diatal as i am still getting glare off the lamp at night tried raising the lamp a bit,moving it to the rear of the scope,mod cover,so now trying to find a sunshade,looked on the zeiss sight cant see one listed,

Use a Butler creek flip up cover instead.

Got one of those on now,takes most of the glare off but leaves a hole in the light pattern,like a horseshoe shape at the bottom,i'm going to have a look at stopping the butler creek flipping all the way up to see if that helps,

I had no joy at all when I tried sunshades on my Swaro. Agreed you do get less light on the subject but you do get enough to get the job done assuming your scope lamp is the same as mine ( a 170 Lightforce). A smaller lamp would give a bigger problem I can see.

Think i might have it sorted now,put a little stop at the back of the butler creek to stop it going all the way up,let you know next time out with it,
