yankeedoodlepigeon
Hi all. I noticed when I put this scope on a colomator and tried to sight it in I noticed that when turning the parallax the cross hairs were moving over a square from one end to another(up and down)when turning parallax in and out. Is this normal for parallax scopes to do this? Thanks Ydp

I cannot see why the grid would move with the parallax adjustment. Is it a good quality glass?
seeker
as I understand it there should be little change if your eye, the x-hairs , scope and moon stay in absolutely the same position? but .... www.6mmbr.com/parallax.html
yankeedoodlepigeon
It is a mtc scope the latest one Taipan so not the best but not all that bad I would not have thought. I have 2 other scopes I am going to try this on but they are of similar value I just wondered what a high end scope would behave like. Plus I have been told off a rfd that it is quite difficult to damage the inside of a barrel by cleaning and things that have been made to put in a barrel
