Thanks a lot for any replys They used to be better made in the past before Crosman took the company over... You can get US imported Blue Streak cb9's if you look around.. these are slighly better than the UK prohunter versions in my opinion. Used to shoot older Blue Streaks a few years ago and good rifles... triggers a bit basic by todays standards... Tony

arjimlad
I had a Sheridan blue streak - yikes ! it was 18 years ago !! It was powerful. It took some pumping and it was very loud. Thankfully I had an alloy adapter to screw a silencer onto. I put some thin leather on the pump to stop it rubbing the finish off the cylinder. You had to be careful not to let the pump handle smack against the cylinder as it would make quite a racket. The scope was attached by a thing called an intermount, which was not great. It never seemed to hold zero. It was hard to pump with a scope in place, as the best place for your hand is where the scope should be. I remember thinking that a Williams peepsight would be best on this rifle. I hunted rabbits with it once. Getting a second shot off was impossible due to the pumping required. I didn't use it again as I had a better option available. It would have been great on rats - fast, pointable, and as the ads said, light enough to carry all day. Having the option of using only 2 pumps for plinking was fun. I don't remember having any issues with the single stage trigger. I tended to just point and shoot with it, with both eyes open, more like a shotgun than a rifle. It was great for that sort of instinctive shooting. I loved it, and kinda wish I'd kept it. It was huge fun to shoot and the look and feel was spot on. But I would not have it as a main hunting rifle - more of a fun, high quality plinker/target shooter.
