tiercel Posted July 14, 2003 Report Share Posted July 14, 2003 Used the gas barbi yesterday to smoke some pigeon breast they were gorgeous never tasted anything like them. All i done was take the coals out and put a buiscet tin with oak sawdust in and left it on a low flame for half an hour. What a result. new to the flock Posted July 16, 2003 Report Share Posted July 16, 2003 Tiercel: Try mixing apple wood chips with alder wood chip for the smoking, and laying a strip of bacon across the breast of the bird.
