Jolly
does anyone use a laser rangefinder for shooting at night ? or is it a waste of time ? what do you use if anything ?
Blackbart
nikkon and only use it for the ones that are out there 250+ as it is harder to judge at night unless they are conveniently sitting next to a wall, tree etc that you have a good idea how far away is. Bowen20
Leupold Rx-500 go to 500 yds really nice small and light great clear optics and was £220 new from optics warehouse I use them regularly at night on foxes they are worth their weight in gold it's a bit hard on shy foxes cos you have to lamp them then see how far they are then try and shoot them whilst compensating for the distance you have just ranged the fox at and shoot it before it runs off. Great to see thow at night when distances get confusing and hard to judge good to see just how far you were out too.
