photos through a flir scout thermal image

Have got a Flir scout on demo/trail at the moment with a view to using it in the day time to pick out squirrels , anyway took a couple of pics with camera by holding lens up to the flir scout eyepiece (need a better way but this was just a try out ) , pics of red squirrels this morning

Now, I would love one of those, BUT, the price :no: Flirs are good, but at the lower end of thermal vision. You want to see the definition of those that are major money :good: I doubt that they would be able to define between a grey and a red as same body conform, but, OH, to have one :rolleyes:

The distance they can detect, is way beyond NV, you want to see the Thermal weapon scopes that are coming onto the market, alas, US at the moment <_<
