Just wanted to clarify this as a scam, and wondered if any one else has recieved anything like this. There is 9 pics of the car on the website so why would any genuine person ask for any more? There's a website all about internet scams here: http://www.419eater.com/ Seems that some people are enjoying getting their own back on these scammers - they're calling it a 'sport'...! plexer Posted June 24, 2006 Report Share Posted June 24, 2006 Deffo scam usually pay you more than what you are asking and then ask for the balance. You'll find that the cheque/draft has been stolen but it does take a while for this to happen at the bank, most banks now will credit you with the money but cheques still take around 30 days to fully clear.
