andy198712
hi all I'm not really sure i understand the BASC dog membership thing? i take it this doesnt include the insurance, and that you then have to get that ontop? which through the basc is just Petplan, which is about £38 a month for me and my pup.... twice what i'm paying now? i'm just a bit confused on the matter Anyone have experience of the BASC and dogs? Cheers
Rosebank22
hi all I'm not really sure i understand the BASC dog membership thing? i take it this doesnt include the insurance, and that you then have to get that ontop? which through the basc is just Petplan, which is about £38 a month for me and my pup.... twice what i'm paying now? i'm just a bit confused on the matter Anyone have experience of the BASC and dogs? Cheers I have my dog insured elseshere for £20 per month The insurance BASC offers is largely 3rd party to cover any damage u and your dog may do to anything whilst out, yet it will cover you personally for death injury as a result of a shooting/country pursuit covered in their t&c's I got the joint cover so my missus is covered when she is working the dog. I would definately cover elseswhere but make sure you get lifelong treatment not like some that only cover for a year - incase your pups hip go or needs long term care. There are plenty of companies out there that will cover working dogs but read the small print, they love it! hope this helps a little
