nicholiath
I had some leather left over from making a knife sheath so made this pouch for my belt. It takes a standard 20 box of .22 hornet rounds and i can keep replenishing it with my home loads. I have some mtm carriers that hold 20 rounds but they are a lot bigger and rattle when walking! Not good in stealth mode! Edited February 12, 2012 by nicholiath

kent
Tell you what i have asked a few leather people if they make me a silent loop type wallet for my hornet rounds. Seems none want to know. tidy job
nicholiath
I am in no way practised in leather work and have no special tools. i thought about a silent type belt loop but realised there would be a lot of work getting the loops just right, that's why i made the pouch which just mirrors the construction of the box that the factory rounds come in then just glued the seams and stitched the belt loop on. happypig
to stop the rattle, try gluing some thin felt to the inside of your plastic spacers......... it should take a shape over time also.... hp
Hornet 6
Tell you what i have asked a few leather people if they make me a silent loop type wallet for my hornet rounds. Seems none want to know. tidy job I have one like that, 14 loops on a belt slide, works very well. Did think about an ammo belt for .22 hornet, but decided it would be impractical. Item 250654588358 on that popular auction site, have aproper look at his shop. Any ammo carrier can be made in any calibre, mine was special at the time but still took less than 2 weeks to arrive. Neil.
