semi auto or pump for a rough gun

I've got an auto as a rough gun and I'd not want anything else, with an auto you get the rapid follow up shots should you need them instead of having to pump everytime! Get a good one and you won't have any problems :good:

 

As for the locking back the bolt if you do it slow enough or do it by hand the cart will be held in place by the extractor arm so won't fall out!

MIA don't take this wrong, I don't mean harm but I have had many of both types of action and in all fairness there is nothing in the speed of getting the next shots off. Both types of action require target actuation for each shot, I found the short stroke of the forend actually aided me.

 

I respect your experience may differ :good:
