Chokemeister
How do non-CPSA (eg Irish, Welsh, Scottish) members of their own respective associations, get classified if they enter a CPSA recognised registered event? Do they use their current home-association region classification or do they get some calculated CPSA classification?
PhilR
I think the CPSA Shoot programme has access to home country data via their membership number. When you say Irish do you mean the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland, if it's the former they should be in the unclassified class and classified on the day, the same as any other foreign country. NI should follow the home country route.
Chokemeister
Thanks, I would mean NI and Scotland shooters. Do you know how classification "on the day" is calculated. thanks in advance
fancyfowl
if you dont have a class with dtl your classed on your first 25, 50 targets or 100 depending on comp .for world events you use your home country class ,if you shoot in another country and dont have a home country class you will use the host country classification .if you are a member of more than one ie welsh and english , with a different class in both your highest classification will be used .only talking about dtl ,other types may be different Edited March 3, 2012 by fancyfowl

Do you know how classification "on the day" is calculated. thanks in advance If you're shooting a registered event of 100 targets i.e. four rounds ex 25 of skeet, DTL etc then the computer picks 2 of the four rounds randomly and all those who are unclassified are classified on those. I can't help for sporting though, sorry.
