hello shooters might sound daft but the licence on what we shoot and when ps pigeons ive read on other topice pigeons ave got to be damaging crops just wondered how does that cover after the harvest when all the crops are in how come people still shoot thanks

The wording 'prevention' allows us to shoot them, similar to shooting fox (I know they aren't on the GL, just a analogy) to prevent them from eating poultry/poults.

 

Pigeon are fairly territorial, so will hang around a certain block of land, shooting them at anytime reduces numbers (apparently) in readyness for the next drill.
