billywoodsman
Yes,i went out yesterday with a couple of new crow decoys and added them to a dozen pigeon decoys to see if it brings them in,it works a treat but you will have to make a real good hide because they have amazing eye sight. Good luck and have fun
Gadge-it
Do you have to make any sort of pattern with the decoys??
hawkeye
Setting up a pattern for corvids i usually walk about 20 paces out from the hide then just throw the decoys about and set the up where they land works for me shot 600 in 5 weeks on one dairy farm about 5 years ago doing this.. :good: Edited March 18, 2012 by hawkeye
steve_b_wales
Get yourself a Primos Power Crow caller, and practice with it until you get it right. It's one of the best callers on the market.
macrae74
I was a big fan of primos but they kept letting me down at crucial moments..the reed jams with saliva.so got a sam neyt it dont jam its tuned to a european crow(unlike primos) it sounds just like a crow and brings them in well it costs 3 times as much as a primos but like most things in life you get what you pay for..i sugest you try different brands and find what works for you
