Cranfield Posted July 30, 2003 Report Share Posted July 30, 2003 Are they harvesting wheat yet on your farms ? "My farmer" is just waiting for a settled weather window. The crop is ready and still getting attention from pigeons, dropping into the tractor tracks. They are preferring wheat, to the rape and barley stubbles. I find it too difficult to shoot over standing wheat, without causing more damage than the pigeons. So, I hope they come back when its stubble.
