njc110381 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Share Posted March 25, 2012 I think my favourite is half a chicken cooked with the lid down and a few small Beech branches from the tree thrown on the coals. No seasoning or messing about, just shut the lid to hold the smoke in and stop the coals from getting too hot.
