I think my favourite is half a chicken cooked with the lid down and a few small Beech branches from the tree thrown on the coals. No seasoning or messing about, just shut the lid to hold the smoke in and stop the coals from getting too hot. It takes about 45 minutes generally and comes out lovely as long as I don't put too much Beech on (can be a bit strong). :good:
