Sharpshooter.123
This is my first write up so bare with me. I was kindly invited out by vampire for a stalk after the munties so he picked me up and drove to the farm and loaded up. The first farm didn't show anything so we decided to go up to the woods and see if we could squeak one out. On the arrival of the first field there was a muntie at the end of the tracks so I closed the bolt as she went out of sight, we went up the hedge rows and couldn't see her. Vampire wizzed the truck around the hedgerow and low and behold there she stood so we tracked her to make sure she was alone (which she was) i waited until she was in the open and side on I clicked the safety off got the crosshairs behind the chest and bang there she fell.I am extremely lucky on my first stalk to bag a muntie and it's butcherd in the freezer with a piece sitting in the fridge for this evenings tea, thanks alot for the invite Karl and looking Forward to the next one thanks for reading

vampire
You are more than welcome mate I cant beleive it was your first stalk and we found a lone doe that presented a safe shot, normally takes a few outings to see one or squeak one out,let alone to get a shot. Have to see if we can spot that pair of bucks that were by the spinney I guess you will be eager to get the .223 now
