BenjShot
Just a catapult i made today, Natural fork sanded and finished,Theraband loops. The amount of fieldcraft you need to get within a reasonable range of suitable quarry is amazing, great way to work on it. 10mm Ball bearings and a couple of cans for now Ben

fortune
Fetching some good money on the "Bay" the milbro ones. They may be asking a bit for them but they haven't got anyone bidding on them. Somewhere I have a couple but I didn't like them when I was a kid so they just got put away somewhere. Again somewhere I have a wood one that I made that was a lot better than the bought stuff. Brother in law was really mustard with a wood one and had a trick wherby he got three red matches and set them up in the slide of the matchbox like a goal and then used to catty the pebble at the match in the middle and as it flicked away it would strike into flame. He was able to consistanly do this from about twenty paces. I could't hit toffee with the catty so I used the 22 rf instead. We used to go into the local bike shop and buy a yard of 3/16" catty lastic. I wouldn't have a clue where to go nowadays
