Don't do ya boots in!

Recommended Posts

He's a tip I learned the hard way, and 4 you new shooters it may just help!

This time of year is not the pigeon shooters best freind. Most crops are well on there way and pigeons have there mind on other things! Like women. Athough I no the urge to get in that hide is huge you pretty much run the risk of sitting idoley for hours with no results, infact this will happen! And what follows that is frustration. Times better spent in other areas of your sport now, like getting ya self down the clay ground and becoming a better shot, time spent here is far better than spending your money on new contraptions you think will get you better bags, and in the long run will pay dividends. Another fun thing to do Wich will help you get good bags and get off to a flyer this coming harvest is building permanent hides in them places you no are hotshots. This can be fun, tests ya feild craft and also lightens up what you have to carry next time. A well built natural hide beats any stealth net out there I tell you. Doing these types of things will stop you doing ya boots-in chasing bags ya just not going to get but also gets you out in the countryside while still in the name of pigeon shooting. Over the months of doing this also helps build the anticipation up of harvest.... And by that time you! Like I! Will be chomping at the bit...

Well artschool, rubythedog took it in the friendly manner it was intended. I'm no spellin nazi, I can handle the odd typo here and there and try as I might manage a few errors myself. But, there is a good reason to want text separated by paragraphs and (no as know) as I want to read what the poster has to say, simples.
