just had interview with flo one question he asked was i on any tablets

i said only a blood pressure and colestrial tablet

he did make a note of this

wonder if this is just routine

also asked if the house was mine or rented

should be fine lots of people on them.weather your rent or not should be ok.

It certainly seems to be routine, don't worry about it. I am on what my FEO calls a class B status - no restrictions etc on my licence, but they contact or visit me yearly, because I have some very nasty long-term health problems and quite rightly, they need to make sure I am continuing to be well enough to look after the guns. Even then I had no problems with my SGC, and I have just gone through my FAC interview with no problems, just the yearly contact, no problem, GP confirmed I am Ok from the shooting standpoint. You should be fine if all you have is slightly high cholesterol and high blood pressure, as long as the medicines sre keeping you ok.

 

I think the renting question is all about who else has access to the property, i.e. landlord etc, and do they need checking.

yeah i reckon your right think most forces have beefed up the check ups since the latest shootings

My old flat was rented, but landlord was also SGC holder so not a problem

I would assume the question about tablets would be focused on antidepressants, which would potentially be very important for a SGC/FAC. Provided the tablets can't change your behaviour in any way I don't see why it could concern them, but writing everything down is sensible.
