-Mongrel-
Good, budget gun IMO. I have one, I had the springs changed to lighter ones as it suffered the occasional non-fire due to the trigger not resetting. Been perfect ever since but it still doesn't like 24g Eleys, too little recoil. People will steer you towards the Lanber on a reliability basis but as I say, mine has been spot on bar the spring issue and I personally prefer the look of the Bettinsoli. cant hit rabbits 123
I had one, it was my first gun. Can't fault it at all, and I only sold it as another gun fitted me a bit better.
ShooterTom
I had 2 new diamond deluxes; both broke,1 went back because of double discharge and was repaired and then if completely failed (wouldn't open) Then I was given a replacement which also had the same problem. In the end I rejected it and got my money back. However I think I may have been unlucky as I heard from the shop that there were a batch that went out tha had a problem with the sears. They didn't know which ones were affected so I may have had two of the dodgey ones? When it did work ok it was nice for the price. Looked good, multi chokes and steel proofed. Oh and this was 2 years ago! Hope this helps Tom
WelshLamb
I have a betty sporter/diamond. Absolutely faultless so far! Have put thousands of shells through it and its never missed a beat. Also chambered/proofed for 3" magnum shells for foxes etc
