yds
After days of torrential rain and only seeing fat does and a BIG buck we saw loads this morning, just having to eventually brave the weather i think. We saw this and approached from 500m's to about 100 in the gloom of heavy rain. Worrying he would slip through the hedge or lay down we took the shot which presented itself. It was pulled off nicely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3-bp89KxKg Well done Loki

Loki
Hi Thank you John R (YDS) for not giving up even in grim conditions. Even though most stalks are memorable this one is up there with my top ones - weather, extraction etc. 'By the book' cull but the 'added value' for me nowadays is the extra enjoyment in having another experienced stalker to exchange experiences during and after with. The 'icing and cherry' on the outings would have been that 'bad boy' that just disappeared after making us work some........................
