The Essex Hunter
I took a make tonight over the sheep farm a good while before sunset so he could see the lay of the land. One blink then run from a fox we came across in the middle of a field, this will require a good plan to get that one! Got this dog fox in the same small field as last night, one difference is the Shepard had filled it up with around 200 sheep! When I saw him he was threading his way through them, as we were down wind this allowed us to work our way back to the hedge and take a safe shot away from the sheep…. I know the direction these foxes are coming from, but they just keep coming! This one took no notice of the lamp like so many before him…. A couple of quick flicks on the lamp to find him in the scope just sitting and looking across the field….the usual bang and whack from the .243…. Many thanks to Carl for coming out this evening on the lamp. http://s856.photobucket.com/albums/ab130/TheEssexHunter/Essex%20Foxes/?action=view¤t=STA60350.jpg
