Cosd
Looking at getting some protection for the boot of my Discovery, and whilst searching for rubber mats I came across this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DISCOVERY-2-TD5-CUSTOM-BOOT-LINER-MAT-DOG-GUARD-1997-2004-003-/110872525891?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item19d0847c43#ht_1346wt_1185 Anyone used this or has seen one? Dr_evil
I'd advise you to get the rubber rigid one instead, the cloth ones aren't great
Seamus
Totally agree with Dr_evil. I bought one of these for my D4 and it wasn't that great at all. The dogs pulled it away from the velcro fastenings almost immediately! I now use the rubber one from my old D3 and it's just a lot less hassle. Cosd
Ok seems my thoughts have been confirmed. Do I go for a genuine LR rubber mat or are there good uality alternatives? Also "rigid' has been mentioned, are these different to what I know as rubber mats? If they are different why are these better than a good quality rubber? BerettaSV10
A friend has a simular one for his, only problem he has found is that on the version he has the side panels are held up by suckers that stick to the side windows, which tend to fall off. Seamus
I've got the flat (i.e. doesn't cover the sides) rubber mat, Land Rover original part. I've given up trying to keep the sides clean!
Delbert
you could always get a horse stable mat from your local agri supplies simple enough to cut to size and stiff enough to stay where its put. http://www.dura-tex.co.uk/stable-mats/58-rubber-stable-mat-12mm.html
