A friend of my son who I introduced to shotguns last year (previously PCP mad) had an offer of some crow bashing

at the local gamekeepers rearing fields which were getting a lot of attention first thing in the morning.

I offered to take him & he was 'mad keen'. He's been doing a bit of everything, clays, pigeons, crows & rabbits with my son & I. Dropped him off at 6.15 with half a dozen flocked crow decoys & a boucer.

Collected him after lunch with is 'bag' of 4 rooks, 3 carrion, 13 jackdaws & 3 pigeons.

Great day for him & a happy Gamekeeper. :)

I'm sure he'll do a write up himself later.

cheers steve for putting that up,

it was a great day out, as my keeper who i have been with almost a year had a problem with jackdoors in the laying pens one pen was hit the hardest and the pen was about 60 eggs less than the other pens a day, when i was shooting the birds were still going in to the pen.

the birds were commiting themselves very good untill i shot a jackdoor which was on its back and the birds flared up, apart from that i have a very happy boss, cheers, :good:

:good:
