hedd-wyn Posted May 28, 2012 Report Share Posted May 28, 2012 Hi I've have room for a new shotgun in my cabinet and have quite fancied the Weatherby PA08 pump shotgun for some time. The woodwork looks really good and it suits my budget a the moment and would like to buy one for myslef. Has anyone ever seen or tried this gun? There don't seem to be any 'british' reviews on this.... Would would be nice to hear form someone on the forum who is familiar with it, and has some info. The design seems to be a combination of bits from the major competitors so I would have thought it would be half decent. How are the US reviews? Already spoke to my RFD about obtaining one and he's given me a really good price fair play. There are some good reviews on YoyTube as well, it just looks like a good solid gun. They'd be pretty rare in the UK so you'd still get a good price on re sale if you didnt like it. Have you considered the cost of proofing when it enters the UK though? I had a spate of bad shooting with it, and as it never really fitted me well I sold it and bought a browning S/A.
