PigeonEater
Are BSA Optics (based in the States) anything to do with BSA in the UK? Dont own anything by either was just curious.
chrisjpainter
Yeah they are. if you read the BSA optics history it explains their roots and the development of the company. Also, if you look at the air rifle scopes on the U.S. site, they're the same as BSAguns.co.uk. The difference seems to be that, because the american market for hunting scopes is far greater than the UK market, they make scopes appropriate for higher powered weapons, not just air guns. So, it'd make sense for them to be based in the U.S. rather than in Britain.
NIGHT SEARCHER
Just be aware that scopes designed for centre fire or rim fire Rifles are made with a higher zero point (ie) smallest zero point 50 60 yds . Scopes that are designed for air Rifles have a lot lower zero point so they can be zeroed. At a lot closer ranges (ie) 15 yds 20 yds 30 yds . There are ways around it by putting packing under the scope between the scope and mount but it is a lot of messing about making shims out of 35mm camera film . Hope this helps.
