DaveM Posted June 7, 2012 Report Share Posted June 7, 2012 If you're thinking of using pigeons for 'cold birds' I would suggest putting them in a net first (the type you get oranges in or what the misus uses in the washing machine), this is because pigeon feathers fall out easily and the dog can be put off. After a while you can get rid of the net and use some elastic bands to hold the wings in place to break him/her in to the feathers. Small steps, don't rush...
