Thedeerman Posted July 6, 2012 Report Share Posted July 6, 2012 I went up for an outing with John from YDS to try and get my first deer with my new .243. Unfortunately the weather decided to put a dampner on the day!! We did manage to see two bucks, one a medal buck that gave us a bit of a runaround, the other a nice four pointer that was spotted about 250M away. The weather closed in and it meant that I didnt get a shot on one but at least I got one in the crosshairs! I think John is probably going to be swimming around with his next client. I did get to help out by taking a fox first thing, apparently it's name was Nibbles.
