smokeyoakey
Hi all, Do you have to pay top dollar to get an half decent rangefinder or are there some good ones that range small objects at a decent range say 4 /500 yds any feedback would be really appreciated cheers Smokey
Bangon
I had a set of swarovski range finders a couple of years ago and they were fantastic on small things, but they were about £800 but i down graded and bought a set of bushnell fusion Arc binoculars and i think these are far better, they cost £300 second hand. However people rave about Leupold and Lecia being good value for money. Tip Top Tip though be careful what you buy on ebay a mate bought a set of Hawke on there and they were 15 yards out!! jackinbox99
I bought a Hawke rangefinder last year, cost about £160, and its rated to 600m which is about 650yards I think. Ive found it very easy to use and very accurate. It could quite easily tell me the range of pigeons sitting in a tree quite some distance away. coyotemaster
I have the Leica CRF 1200 and it is a great rangefinder if a bit pricey. It will read objects off of snow which is a big plus for me.
