walshie
At last! I'm hopefully going to see a farmer who has a pigeon problem not far from here. He has quite a bit of land, so I'll have my work cut out for a while. My question is: He knows I will be shooting there with my son, so do I get him to sign individual permission slips for each of us, or do I get one for myself and word it so I can take someone else with me? Any advice much appreciated. Edited July 10, 2012 by walshie
Jesse James
Nice one Dave. I have mine worded so it reads : Permission for myself and son and or shooting syndicate members. depends on what you have spoken about to farmer and if you need to offer more than one gun to cover crops or cost, if the farmer wants payment for you to shoot, and you allowed to get a few guns together. I get one master copy and also signed permission sheets for the extra guns. you know what its like down here for getting permission. Good luck Lee. scolopax
Personally, seal the deal with a handshake and don't bother with any signed papers, they are not needed, in fact many farmers are adverse to signing anything, you do not want an awkward situation if he refuses to sign .
