Anth6568
I'm thinking of buying a lincoln 10b ou. Does any one use this gun and do you fire steel shot through it?
wildfowler.250
Don't think they are steel proofed. I was going to get one but only for shooting lead. Think I'm going to save and get an AYA though

Think I'm going to save and get an AYA though neither is the AYA my friend but both work fine if the choke is taken to no greater than 1/2 and the gun is in good condition. They are both fine guns

The lad i bought my s/s 10 off does, he preffers a stack barrel. the average 10 is built like a tank and i believe there is no British proof std for a steel 10 bore anyhow? though someone might correct me on that. Yeah my sbs 10 has enough barrel to be bored out to an '8'. SP10 or browning Gold should be steel proofed. But you could pay and open the gun up. Anth6568
I looked at fitting screw in chokes to a Lincoln, Teague ones. Cost £350!
