DooMRoTT
Hi, New to forum, also shooting clays . I've just bought a miroku and would like any opinions on chokes, recoil pads . I'm hoping to get my first shoot this weekend I'm like a big kid .., The flush chokes are 1/4. And full is this correct ? And is it worth buyin further versions of the extended choke ? Ive gone for 1/2-3/4 is this to tight for sporting ?. I have hull 7.5fast is this acceptable for the noob .. Thanks for any advice
HDAV
Hi and welcome 1/4 & 1/2 for sporting if you have them, hull carts are fine, have fun, if it fits the recoil should be ok but practise mounting the gun in the mirror before shooting you'll know when you get it wrong with carts in the breech.... For the next week Just to say some grounds only allow fibre wads so check if you have plastic they are ok all shoots sell the right carts so take SGC just incase. A few lessons will do wonders to set you out in the right foot without starting with bad habits Edited July 20, 2012 by HDAV
MAL S
as above no need for anything tighter if you get chance try the new cheddite cart they are good

chrispti
Weird mix of chokes never understood why they do it like that You only get the Teague extended 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4 with the gun, the others (the 2 flush fitting chokes) would have been purchased as extras. scotty38
Did you get your guns new Iv only ever seen the MK38 Teague sporter advertised with the 3 extended Teague chokes Yep, brand spanker. I know it's advertised on their site as only those chokes but their pictures aren't correct either so maybe things have changed and they've not updated the site. Radar70
All new mk38s come with 2 flush and 3 extended put the 1/4 in the bottom barrel and 1/2 top set the selector to U dont complicate things by thinking about recoil pads the standard 1 is fine, and dont shoot the hull comp x as they are very slow try eley first i get along fine with em but shells are persional choice.Fiber wadd or plastic depends were u shoot. A lesson will certanly help tho but of all Enjoy yourself and be Safe
chrispti
The chokes must be added by the importers then, as the MK38 Teague sporters leave the factory with only the 3 extended Teague chokes.
