Bangon
It was a nice evening so thought id head out tonight about an hour before sunset. I brought my .222. Ive had it for a while but never bagged a fox with it. I found a good spot and walked about 70 yards into the field and set up my rabbit decoy and foxpro caller. It turned them both on and set the foxpro to rabbit distress call. I walked back to my ambush point and looked at the treeline about 150 yards in front and saw a fox sat there looking at the decoy. It must have taken me about a minute or so from turing them on to walking back. I couldnt believe it. I was still standing so got down as slowly as i could. This is too easy i thought. Mr foxy then preceeded to walk to his left away from the decoy. Maybe he was spooked? Well a moment later it was lights out.
steve_b_wales
Excellent. Well done. I too use a Foxpro (Spitfire) and also a 'rockin' rabbit decoy. This will be up for sale soon,as my mate in the USA is sending me a different one. I also use bait, so that the fox has sight, sound and smell to think about.
