henry d
I had to put my ferret down this morning and as I have used ferrets less and less over the years, due to lack of rabbits and now due to lack of time, I think it will be the last I will ever own. I wonder how long I can keep the other branches of fieldsports going, stalking/fowling/pigeons/rough shooting/paper punching etc? Anyhow Mrs.Hd will be slightly happier as the stinkers have gone, there used to be 6 at one time, and I suppose I will get back a few bob on the equipment. CharlieT
Just remember Henry that life goes in cycles. Now I'm an old'un I do seem to have a little more time on my hands to play at the things I love. The only problem now is that when I buy a new puppy I work out who will last the longest, me or the dog. Before you can blink you to will have the time and inclination to persue all those delights again.

grasshopper
I tried giving them up a few years ago when, after getting home from a stag weekend, the hutch hadn't been shut correctly and both Ferts where gone Lasted about 6 months and had to have some more...found i wasn't shooting as much and that having Ferts at least made me pop out for the odd Rabbit to feed them. So i would hang onto your equiptment for a little time yet H!
