SgP DK
I've seen these set up of decoyes and pigeonmagnet on a dutch homepage. Does that work? Ankervorm opstelling K-vorm opstelling V-vorm opstelling Hoefijzervorm L-vorm Let me say it that way, I am very surprised, but maybe....... Cranfield
My Dutch is not up to much and I could be reading the diagrams all wrong. However, they seem to be suggesting that the pigeons will land with the wind. That is not very usual, in my experience. I would not set my decoys out anticipating this. But let's say we turn some of the arrows and pigeons around - would it work with the magnet in the pattern? I have been told, that you should put the magnet outside the pattern. Cranfield
I put my rotary device in my pattern, normally at the point of the "killing area". Incoming birds seem to focus on the rotary device and I position it accordingly. However, I find I am using my rotary device less and less at the moment. The "floaters" seem to do just as well at drawing the pigeons in. I don,t think that site is written by Antis, perhaps they have just got their arrows mixed up. Or, maybe Dutch birds don,t behave the same as ours.
SgP DK
The "floaters" seem to do just as well at drawing the pigeons in. Could you explain to me, what "floaters" is? Am I right, that this is this? That about the antis was just a joke. Thank you for the information about placing the magnet in the pattern! Cranfield
That is certainly what I would call a "floater".
