hi folks, ive just bought a lanber sporting delux and its come with a total of five chokes. if youve seen my previous posts here youll know im new to all this shotgun stuff.. i know what chokes do but not which i should use as my lanber manual is mostly in spanish and the only spanish i know is san miguel :)

the chokes are marked with nicks in the end of them, one has one, one has two, one has three, one has four and one has no marks on it. can anyone tell me which is which with these and which youd reccomend i use

thanks

Hi

I have a lanber, I shoot 1/4 choke (4 notches) and 1/2 choke (3 nothces) on game and open choke (0 notches) and 1/4 choke (4 notches) on clays

So, lanber chokes go

open = 5 notches

1/4 = 4 notches

1/2 = 3 notches

3/4 = 2 notches

full = 1 notch

1 mark - Full choke

2 marks - 3/4 choke

3 marks - 1/2 choke

4 marks -1/4 choke

Not sure about the one with no marks. Might be true cylinder (No choke) I'm sure someone here will put you right on that one.

I would normally use 1/4 and 1/2 as a starting point.
