paul6806
A first for me, I've just made up some cherry brandy and vodka. Vodka, 250g of cherries pitted and quartered (just to get them in the bottle) 100g sugar 1/2 bottle vodka (sainsburys cheapy in this case). Will come to just over 3/4 full in a 700cc bottle Brandy 250g of cherries pitted and quartered (again, just to get them in the bottle) 30g sugar 1/2 bottle of brandy. Will let you know the outcome in December. Roll on the sloes....
Paul T
Cherry brandy Very few sloes round my village this year and nothing like the whoppers we had last. I might just be able to grab enough for a couple of litres if I'm lucky!
paul6806
The vodka didn't last. Tasted lovely but a bit medicinal. Nice long drink when added soda water and ice to it. Will definately make up some more when I can get more cherries.
