So Mr Lampkin best be nervous then mate? The only way he needs to be nervous is if he is stood beside me on the bike as I'll probably fall off onto him and squish him! Catweazle
Hahaha now that's funny. Love that!! My old man used to say Dougie could ride up the side of a greased house!!! I had a tutorial video of Steve Colley, in it he rode up a 10ft vertical wall. It sounds impossible, but he put a breeze block a few feet in front of the wall to launch from, then pulled the bike so far back he hit the wall rear wheel first and as the front wheel was coming to meet the wall the rear wheel was driving up it, then the momentum carried the front wheel over the top and he dragged the bike with it. Incredible. On the subject of good riding, I used to ride near the Thames in Cliffe and Jason Finn was there nearly every weekend, first in his double-glazing van and later (when he was famous ) in his black custom van. He could really ride - he used to ride along the tops of the broken brick walls, including around the corners, and across slippery wooden conveyor frames from the gravel mining high above the lakes. I think he still does trick riding at shows.
